This weeks Double Feature Friday comes from good friend Yooni aka “The Yoon-Dog” (I have never actually called her that but I’m hoping this nickname catches on). The reason I like these hats is because not only do they portray a variety of animals, but they give you an added pair of ears. So you can hear like doubly well when you wear these hats. Or maybe you can understand the language of whichever animal your wearing. For instance, the ears on the monkey hat allow you to understand the native tongue of monkeys.

  • Wow. True fashion innovator, right here. I’ve never looked at a pancake and said “This would make a good hat” because I just don’t have that kind of vision. I have, however, looked at many pancakes and said “This would be delicious in my belly.” Anyways, this bunny is really thinking outside of the box, and I like it. She’s basically the Lady Gaga of rabbits.

You know how in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song they said a little something about all the turtles, and Raphael was the designated “party dude?” Well if this shark was on a TV show (regardless of whether or not it involved teenagers, mutants, ninjas, or turtles) he would obviously be the party dude. I mean he’s wearing a sideways hat! That just screams “I love having a good time!” It also screams that he does not conform to society’s values of front-facing hats, and if you wanna hang out with a bunch of straight-shooter squares who wear their hats the “right” way, then I, good sir, do not want to party with you.

I know what you first thought when you saw this picture, you were like “Damn son, a pirate kitty? That’s what’s up!” But then you were all “Oh wait, upon further inspection, that’s some sort of french sun hat, not a pirate hat. I don’t fucks with that.” I know you were disappointed, and so was I. Imagine a pirate kitty, sailing the seven seas, probably fishing for tuna (you know, ‘cause cats love that stuff). Now compare that to a kitty eating snails in France while saying things like “Bonjour.” Not as cool, right?

“Why hello, I am a crocodile and I’m making some gumbo. I’m glad you visited my swamp because, unlike other crocodiles and similarly large reptiles (i.e.: alligators, komodo dragons) I am very hospitable and enjoy having guests. You didn’t expect me to eat this entire pot of gumbo by myself did you? Well you should have because let’s be honest, I could eat a human being, I could probably eat a large container of southern comfort food. Besides, I am a talking and cooking alligator, you shouldn’t doubt me in any facet”

This is technically a fan submission because it was sent to me by a fan, but she didn’t actually take the picture so I’m not sure how legitimate it is. Either way, it’s hilarious. It was sent to me by my good friend Tiffany, and she informed me that this piranha is wearing a Texarkana College hat.  I’m really glad told me this because all of these years I could’ve sworn it was a Minnesota Twins hat. Thanks, Tiffany!!!

This is a real life Vegas Showcat. I’m not sure if she’s like a dancer or a magician’s assistant though. If she is a magician’s assistant, do you think the magician is a human or an animal? I’ve never seen an animal do magic, but I sure would love to. There are so many avenues for entertainment that have not yet been utilized.

If there was one hat that could always make me happy, it would definitely be this one. Let’s go over it, shall we? First off, there’s a cartoon panda. Have you ever seen a cartoon panda and never smiled? I’ll answer that for you: no you have not. Secondly, it’s skiing. Pandas in no way shape or form have the physique to ski, which makes this hat all the more hilarious. Finally, the panda is wearing goggles. Eyewear on animals is almost as good as hats on them.

  • Clearly this labrador had a fun New Years Eve. If “party” was a unit of measurement and it was calculated in party hats, I think it’d be safe to say that she had 4 times the party of the average dog. It could be more though, I didn’t even take into account the birthday necklace.
